One word - FANTASTIC !! A very simple but well crafted website made ordering a straightforward process. Communication from Bhey at Bluesky Stone was excellent and customer care was superb. I collected my order and Brian at the workshop was just wonderful. I was late but nothing was too much trouble. He carefully loaded my stone in through the boot of my car helping me make it secure and even went the extra mile by giving me a bottle of cold refreshing water for my long journey home. Fantastic

How much does a slate hearth cost?
A 1200 × 900 × 20mm riven slate hearth is £95 including VAT, plus £78 pallet delivery to England and Wales, or collect free from Milton Keynes.
Slate or limestone: which is better for a stove?
Both are non-combustible and standard UK hearth materials. Slate has a riven, honed or brushed face; limestone has a fine-textured matt face in black or grey. Choose by look.
Do you deliver to Scotland and Northern Ireland?
Not online. Call 01908 46 46 56 for a quote.
Can I collect?
Yes, free from Milton Keynes. Choose Collect at checkout.
Can you cut a hearth to my size?
Yes. Cut to Size cuts up to three matching pieces from one slab, cut, dressed, cleaned and sealed, from £153.
What if my hearth cracks?
If it cracks within 14 days of delivery, provided it was installed in that time, we replace it free.
